The tree houses have attracted a lot of attention in both the store & on the blog. There are 2 different styles: the tree house cottage & the build your own tree house, which comes in large or small (shown above). Not only are they naturally beautiful but children can rearrange change the tree houses into many different configurations! Tree houses range in price between $88 and $154. Check out the branch furniture sets that go in tree houses (or other doll houses). Furniture sets are between $16 and $32 for either a bedroom set or a living room set- and come in 2 different sizes, for larger or smaller doll or tree houses.

Not only are these marionettes beautiful, but they’re also American made & well priced! A hand crafted marionette for $39! We have a set of these on display in the store & we’re taking special orders for any we sell out of. We have pinocchio, lancelot on a horse, a siberian tiger & several others. Display stands are $15.
We also have a new line of unpainted wooden toys from Kentucky. The grasshopper pull toy below ($32) makes a great clicking noise as it’s pulled. From this toy supplier, we have a great selection of mini trucks & cars (for $3 to $6) as well as really unique items like the large river boat boat pull toy shown below.

Having trouble finding a unique gift for that creative, intelligent high school student in your life? Here are some ideas from our store:
1. Solid Graphite Pens. The quill shown above is made of solid graphite. I initially thought the line was aesthetically beautiful, but it’s the writing experience that’s really amazing. The San Francisco artist, Agelio Batle’s website describes, “it invites you to access your imagination and discover its infinite possibilities”. We carry several styles and sizes and a pen to test in the store.
2. Gigamic Games: We have a variety of games from this company such as Quarto, Skybridge, Pylos & Quorido. Several of these games have not only won Mensa “Top 5 Games” awards in previous years but they have also won awards in Europe as well. And all are natural wood games.
3. Buddha Boards: we have a Buddha Board by the register in the store and we are on our 3rd shipment of them since school started this year! Beauty in simplicity. Simply draw on the surface with water. The water evaporates leaving you with a clean slate, ready to create all over again! Come in the store & try it & you’ll see why these sell so well.
